Hello! If you’re stopping by from SITS Girls today, I want to say thanks for coming by, and welcome! I’m glad you’re here.

If this is your first time here at GFunkified, I hope you brought your sassy pants.

I’m a stay at home mom of four, and I live out in the country in Kansas, surrounded by corn fields, and you know….cows.

I’m the co-host of a weekly link-up called #iPPP, or iPhone Photo Phun. Come back on Tuesday nights and join us…all you need is a post with a phone picture in it (it doesn’t have to be from an iPhone, though…I don’t have one.) We always have a great group of bloggers, both loyal and new, and everyone is welcome!

We’re a gluten free household here, because my four year old daughter has Celiac Disease and my six year old daughter and I are gluten-intolerant. Sometimes I talk about my struggles with it, and sometimes I share my favorite meals and recipes.

I was a proud speaker at Listen To Your Mother this past spring, and I told my story about what it’s like being a widowed mother.Β (Cliffs Notes version: it’s not easy)

Oh, and I’m a runner. I trained for and finished my first half marathon in September, and since then, I’ve been working hard to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training, with whom I’ll run my second half in January, the Walt Disney World Half Marathon. I also set and reached a goal of 500 miles this year,Β so that was a pretty big deal for me.

If you’re so inclined, I’d love you to come by and see me on my Facebook pageΒ or Twitter, or my true love, Instagram.

(I don’t take myself too seriously, so you don’t have to either)

I hope you’ll take a look around and introduce yourself, tell me a little bit about your blog so I can come by and see you, too! I’ll bring the coffee and gluten free muffins.
