This summer has been so. stinking. hot. We started off strong, checking a lot of items off of our Summer Bucket List. Then things calmed down and heated up outside. Yeah, we’ve had bible school and swimming lessons, and a little trip here and there. But for the most part, we’ve stuck around here, swimming in the backyard and vegging in the air conditioning.

Of course, we have to change things up once in a while to keep things interesting (and keep us from biting each other’s ever-loving heads off). We did the movie night, and we did the outdoor movie.

Naturally, next we had a “movie picnic” situation.

We watched a silly movie that the kids loved (Yogi Bear). (But yeah… I didn’t mind watching Ed on the big screen….it’d been a while.) I believe T called it “Ernest Goes To Camp for Kids”.

The picnic was perfect, because well, it’s always a cool 73 degrees and there are far fewer ants in your strawberries that way.

Mommy Bear Media is a mom-owned business specializing in family friendly movies and tv shows. They don’t even carry movies rated higher than PG-13. They’re also really reasonably priced and the shipping is FREE and super fast.

I wasn’t compensated for this post. I chose the movie to review and all opinions are 100% my own.

I’m linking up with Jen for TGIF today, and maybe we’ll have another picnic with the Legend of the Guardians. Those owls are gorgeous.
