The Dynamic Duel Canada vs USA Virtual 5K

November 8 – 15, 2013

DynamicDuelVirtual5K

Join the Race to end blood cancers with Greta from G*Funkified and Laura from Mommy-Miracles. These bloggers are challenging each other to see who can get the biggest team to run The Dynamic Duel Canada vs USA Virtual 5K. We are recruiting runners from all across Canada and America (and around the world) to join the race. To the biggest team goes the bragging rights !

If you have never run a virtual 5K before, you’ll be surprised at how easy it is. Just sign up, run or walk 5k any time between November 8th and November 15th, and post a picture of yourself with your race bib (that you will be emailed) and your time. Easy peasy! After the race is over, we will be mailing out medals to all the finishers (and maybe even some prizes too!)

The best part? All proceeds from this virtual 5k will go towards the funds that Laura and Greta are raising with Team in Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as they train to run the Run Disney Half Marathon in January.

So join us and let us know what team you’re running with! Team Canada (with Laura from Mommy-Miracles) or Team USA (with Greta from G*Funkified). (If you aren’t from either Canada or the United States, we’d love to still have you participate, although we probably cannot mail you a medal at the end of the race. Still, know that your race entry fee will be going to a good cause! So choose a team and run with us!)

How to Participate in this Virtual 5K:

Click here to enter the virtual 5K. Choose which team you are running with and leave your name, shipping address, and email address. Email your race fee ($20) to one of the specified Paypal email addresses. Once you have paid your race fee, we will email you your race bib. When you have completed the race, email your finishing photo to virtual5k@mommy-miracles.com. Please tweet about your race and share your photos using #TNTDuel.

Want more swag? We have a race shirt you can purchase too! Click here to see and purchase the American version. (The default option is an athletic shirt but you can change the type of shirt if you are looking for a cheaper option, or men’s or youth sizing. The profits from the shirt will all go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America through Team in Training). If you want the Canadian version, head on over to Laura’s link.
