It’s been a pretty good week, you guys.

May 26

Memorial Day picnic with my family and T’s parents. Erv was feeling pretty crappy, but we had fun, and it was a beautiful day.

Ivy’s first day of basketball camp. She was so nervous, and looked so tiny out there on the court. She surprised me, though, with as hard as she worked out there!

I took both of the littlest to basketball camp, after we dropped Henry off at overnight camp. Erv was good for about 10 minutes (out of 60), before he decided he would much rather A) go home and take a nap or B) run onto the court and play basketball with Ivy. Even the stage next to the gym wasn’t enticing enough. The next two days, he took a nap at grandpa’s house instead of coming with us.

I made it to 250 miles, halfway to my goal of running 500 miles in 2013! The weather was cloudy and cool the first half of the week, perfect for us to go to the track every day after basketball camp so I could get some miles in while the girls played in the sand pit.

Also? Cat mustache.

Ivy’s last day of basketball camp! She was the smallest kid (our at least, one of the smallest…there was a boy from her kindergarten class there, too). She didn’t quite have the strength or height to get the ball where it needed to be, but that didn’t stop her from trying. I’m so proud of her.

I’ve been taking my food like crazy the last few weeks. One of my favorite lunches lately is nachos with avocado, a sauteed bell pepper, black beans, salsa, light sour cream and cheese. I love it with Baked Scoops tortilla chips.

Our first summer movie outing! We all had lunch together, then I took the big three to The Croods while T took Erv home to hang out.
