Project 365 (Week 11)

Um…this week? Tried to kill me. It tried hard. But I fought back in my ball of stressed-ness, and made it through. Now, I have to think about leaving for Blissdom in a little over four days.

March 10

Sunday was uneventful….I may or may not have stayed in my pajamas for most of the day. There was snuggling, and piling up, and that’s all I remember.

We had a visitor Monday night/Tuesday morning. He was large, and persistent. I’m calling it “the raccoon saga,” also known as a perk of living in the country. The fence goes around our front porch, and the dead trees are my garden. About six feet to the left are the fenced in dogs, who didn’t stop barking for a solid 14 or so hours while this guy was around.

We had storytime to go to Wednesday morning, and Essie let Erv wear the puppy dog hat. And this happened.

First day of Spring Break, and finally a warm day. Warm enough that the koala hat was put on and immediately shed. Oh, and that’s two day old Infallible lipstick on her cheeks. The girls made an old-makeup discovery while playing together.

It was 70 for the second day in a row, and the second day of Spring Break. This picture pretty much says it all.

The busiest day in a long while. I woke up early to run two miles for the Omron Fitness training plan, plus another 1.1 for the Shamrock Virtual 5K, and then spent the rest of the morning and afternoon getting ready for Erv’s second birthday party. (Oh, and the 70 degree weather? GONE. In came the cold and windy, just in time for a party at the house.)

I’m crazy about this picture of the four of them. It’s pretty much all of their personalities in one shot of awesomeness.

  2. Co-Pilot Mom says:

There was a lot going on last week! I liked seeing your saga updates on Facebook. And I agree, that last shot is pure awesome. :)

  3. Alison says:

    Your children are seriously CUTE!

  4. Farrah says:

I have to admit I enjoyed the raccoon saga. Although if it were me and my house probably not so much.
Great shots- and 70? Oh man am I jealous.

  5. Ilene says:

I LOVE that puppy dog hat. My girl has a lady bug hat and you just can't take a bad picture of her in that thing. It's too cute. And what's with that 70 degree weather gone cold? We had the same ting here in NJ. 60 one day and thirty the next. It's driving me crazy!

  6. your children are so beautiful! Sorry about that week trying to kill you though :/ But oh Blissdom! You are going to have so much fun! Two things you've inspired me to do next year: LTYM, and Blissdom! Can't wait to hear how it goes :)

  7. Julia's Math says:

Love the four kiddos together! Wow you *do* love in the country!

  8. Audrey says:

He looks so handsome in his tie! And I love the koala hat :) But my favorite is the picture of them playing pirates! It looks like a picture of Peter Pan!

  9. Leighann says:

Love the shots! Can't wait for spring to sprinkle some warmth on us!

  10. bocafrau says:

That last picture is awesome. They are just too cute – all 4 of them. I would have freaked with the raccoon around. We got plenty here and you don't want to get too close to them that's for sure.

  11. Julia says:

Too much cuteness for one post. I love the one of them outside playing, it is just such a classic childhood picture!

  12. Elaine says:

Oh yeah, that last shot is perfect! And I seriously thought that raccoon was like a small bear! That this is HUGE!!!

  13. Lady Jennie says:

You have the cutest kids! Oh, that dog hat!

  14. Angela says:

You made it through the week! Woo-hoo! Now Blissdom!
Your kids are adorable and you are such a good mama. I'm so glad the puppy dog hat is a hit. He looks so cute in it.

  15. Kimberly says:

The picture of them outside is hilarious. Someone is anti-shirt. We are supposed to get an inch+ of snow today so there will be no nakedness in our hood…which is a good thing since our neighbor is a bazillion pounds.
Racoons are really mean. Really. Mean.
