Project 365 (Week 10)

I realized mid-way through this week that I had only taken one picture most days, and sometimes I’d gotten almost through the day before I took a picture. I blame it on the winter blahs. We haven’t really gone anywhere or done much of anything, and I haven’t had anything new or interesting to take pictures of. Hopefully, it’ll get warmer soon and that’ll change.

Sunday actually was a really fun day. I got to spend it with Mamamash, brunching, grocery shopping and filling her freezer with meals in anticipation of her sweet baby boy’s impending arrival. Just a few more days, MM!!

This was the only picture I took on Monday. The caption I put on Instagram was “Learning valuable lessons from Barbie Charm School.” I think that pretty much sums it up.

The girls got animal hats (or rather, all of the children got them and the girls claimed them) from a little comment contest that Angela from Jumping With My Fingers Crossed did and I won. They LOVE them, and have hardly taken them off.

Henry has been in a very Lego-creative mood this week, which I love to see. And this look right here, this is the essence of his father (my first husband).

I had my Listen To Your Mother Show audition on Thursday. This is all I have to say about that:

My baby’s not such a baby anymore. Sigh.

Erv got to actually take a bath by himself. I caught his signature “pulling one over on mama” look:

Today was the Mamavation Virtual 5K. I ran it in the afternoon and shaved about 20 seconds off of my personal record. This was number 4 of the 13 5Ks I’ve committed to run this year. (By the way, if you’re looking to join an online, supportive, healthy-minded community, I highly recommend Mamavation. They’re all pretty awesome.)

Love Erv's face in the bath. Also, your LTYM post-audition face. Though I'm sure you rocked it!

    • gretafunk says:

Haha, I know. I love that face, except it always reminds me how grown up he's starting to look. And thanks….we'll see in a few days, I hope!

  2. Julia says:

Your post audition face is too much I'm
sure you did well. What can't be learned from Barbie Charm School, lol.

  3. mamamash says:

You're killin' it in the apron. Also, your post-LTYM pic is perhaps one of my favorite pics of you ever.

    • gretafunk says:

Haha! That was nerve-wracking, dude. And thanks! I think I should probably rock an apron more often. It makes everything gourmet, no?

  4. euregirlsandboys says:

Erv's looking grown up – but skinny compared to my chub :) Do you feel like you're wasting away now because you're doing so awesome with your running?? I hope you get good LTYM news soon!
