Right this very minute, I’m in the Nashville airport, about to head over to the Opryland hotel for Blissdom, my VERY FIRST blogging conference. Eek!! I can tell you that I’m a bundle of nerves right now!

I’m also totally preoccupied with the whole gluten thing. Bright and early Monday morning (the day after I get back home!), Essie is going to be going under for an endoscopy that will assess how much damage the celiac disease has already done. She’s two, y’all. Keep her in your prayers please (and maybe her daddy and I, as we’re sure to be nervous wrecks that morning)!

As you (might) know, I’ve been working with the MOMables crew for the past few months, chronicling the healthy changes I’ve been making with my family. Well, now that I’ve started this gluten-free “adventure”, I’ll be sharing that, too. We haven’t fully transitioned into a family-wide gluten-free diet, but it’s coming very, very soon (like, after the endoscopy), and I’ve stopped buying anything with gluten in it almost entirely. My first (super easy) gluten-free recipe is over there today, and I would so appreciate it if you’d check it out and let me know what you think.
