As I write this (Monday night), I’ve spent the day talking to various people about our Listen To Your Mother show in 2016. I have literally been buzzing with excitement about the progress and decisions we’ve made, and those we will make in the next few months.

As I worked on our introductory blog post for the LTYM: Kansas City site that we’re going to be sharing in the next few days, I was looking back on posts from the 2013 and 2014 seasons and found this interview I did with Lisa. It took me way back to those days of writing my story, submitting it, and eventually reading it in front of all of those incredibly supportive people in the audience, and I just can’t even tell you how excited I am to be a part of hearing and presenting the stories that we’ll be sharing next spring.

So anyway, I’ve got this crazy mix of nostalgia for the show I was in and excitement for the one we’re putting on and maybe I had a cup of coffee at 6pm and I can just hardly contain myself.
