If we’re friends on Facebook, it’d be impossible for you not to know that we got a new puppy this week. My friend’s dog had a litter of them, and when we dropped by her house recently, we fell in love. (Thanks, Nikki!)

Yes, I already have my hands full with all the kids and the animals, but we live in the country, no one wears diapers anymore, and well, I feel like we can handle the responsibility.

Plus, puppy love. It’s real.

Her name is Louise, and we call her Lou or Lulu. She’s a tiny little snuggle bug, part Chihuahua, part Pomeranian, part other things. And sweet as pie.

And I didn’t take this, the husband did, but it was at the girls’ birthday party a week and a half ago, and I thought it was perfect for the prompt (that’s Erv looking up at grandpa on the huge trampoline).

Through The Lens Thursday is meant for self-improvement, so please….constructive criticism is welcome!

Through The Lens Thursday is a self-improvement photography project that Alison of Writing, Wishing and I are doing this year.

Don’t forget to join our Flickr group or share your own posts if you’d like to follow along and work on your own photography! And use the hashtag #throughthelensthursday to connect with others working on it, too.

Next week’s prompt is LOVE (oh goodness).
