It was a busy week! The kids had swimming lessons every morning, plus a couple of birthday parties and other things thrown in.

July 6

I got to meet a long-time bloggy friend, Tara, on Sunday. It was so nice chatting with her over coffee…we had a million things to talk about!

July 7

First day of swimming lessons! This year, we stayed closer to home…all four kids were able to take lessons, so I had 90 minutes every morning to not occupy any squirrely toddlers. It was awesome.

July 8

More swimming lessons. More toddler style. And conversations on the swing set about what the other girl is imagining. And then late nights for everybody (oldest and I at Starlight, girls with my parents, Erv with his Daddy).

July 9

Speaking of late nights, it made for a rough next morning.

Then we went to the library and made a rainbow loom. With socks and sandals (no, not ALL of us).

July 10’’

More toddler style (our house is positively overflowing with it these days). Rain boots, flashlight, viking hat from the Warrior Dash, and swim trunks. All but the trunks and rain boots stayed in the car for lessons, though.

july 10

Indiana Jones was ready for any dream-time adventure that night.

July 11

Last day of swimming lessons, last day of fifteen minutes with four kids and a sunscreen parade.

july 11

And the cuteness that is cousins holding hands (that’s Erv and my almost-four-year-old niece).

July 12

Saturday was the perfect day for swimming. The water was (finally) warm, the air was (finally) hot.
