So, I was really busy and tired this weekend and I didn’t get to posting last week’s Project 365. Here are both!

Ivy had her second basketball game, and Henry, Essie, and I (along with my parents) were her cheering squad.

It got cold for a while. Thank goodness for hats from Angela’s giveaway.

Thanksgiving! We hosted hubs’ parents at our house. Grandma brought a snowman kit (Thanks, Jeanne!) that the kids played with all day long (it’s basically silly putty with little pieces to stick in it, and it “melts.” Then the girls, their grandma, and I went to see Frozen. Such a cute movie. (And obviously, I had the flash on and close to me. Eek.)

All four kids (and a cat) gathered around daddy to watch and listen to a story that he grew up loving.

Every picture is more serene with Christmas tree lights. Right? Ahem.

Lunch and Union Station with my BFF and her family, who were taking care of some business after moving away 8 months ago. It was so good to see them.

Monday was spent watching Julie’s boys and trying to keep them occupied while they worked on getting their house ready to sell. I got lots of snuggles. (photo stolen from Julie) And then we got to get away and watch Catching Fire. It was a good day (for me anyway).

I took a lot of selfies this week. This was another with Crazy Eyes, after helping in her preschool class.

We have an advent calendar that we made in my mom’s group. It has an envelope for each day, with an activity in most of them. We got a day behind, so we caught up by making paper snowflakes.

It got really cold Wednesday night, and sometime while we were sleeping, we got our first snow of the season. Just a little bit, but the kids were still excited. I was excited to hurry back in the house or car when I had to go outside. BRR!

I’m so not a fan of the put-the-coat-on-the-kid-just-to-walk-to-the-car-and-take-it-off-again winter shenanigans. Especially when it’s super cold and we’re only driving ten minutes to pick up big sister (or go to school or whatever).

The girls and I went with the Girl Scouts to see a local production of Snow White. It was fun, except for the scary old lady queen getting really close to us on the aisle.
