If last week was nice and warm, this week was brutally cold. It made it hard to want to leave the house, you know?

Ivy had her first basketball game. Then when the big three went to bed, and the one who still naps got into his sister’s lip gloss.

Then the next day, there was no nap but plenty of staying up and screaming for fun.

Tuesdays are usually my days to go help in the preschool class. We have fun.

Erv’s new game was called “Angry Guys” and it’s very dramatic. (Also, his half moon eyes when he smiles just kill me dead)

Essie also did some very creative taping to add more items to her Christmas list, which was hanging on the wall. Now, it takes up the wall. (She has since added many yellow note papers, as well)

It was cold, and there was freezing rain. So, that was fun. We didn’t do anything, and Ivy’s basketball practice was canceled. But this happened (for a few minutes):

We went to my cousin’s wedding shower a couple of hours away, and it was still 20-something degrees. I was even signed up for a 5K that night, but it was way too cold and we barely made it home in time to leave again. So instead, we got in our comfy clothes and stayed warm inside. There was snuggling, and drawing, and reading.
