We didn’t really have a birthday party for Henry because we’re doing something fun as a family next weekend. But, we went out to lunch with his cousins.

I helped in Essie’s preschool class. It’s less than an hour and the time flies by, but I love getting to know all of her little preschool friends.
I also took this right before school, and I just love their faces.

This kid. I’m glad he decided to wait until he was two and a half to get to the terrible twos. With the rest of them, it was 18 months.

It’s nice to not drive into the sun on the way to school anymore…the sunrise is a little more pleasant as the days get shorter.

The kids are always captivated when I have a “mama show” on. This time it was Parenthood. (Those are straw cups, by the way. I don’t know why I feel the need to say that.)

Ivy started Girl Scouts Saturday. It’s only a couple of hours once a month, but I think it’s going to be great for her.

I love Scouts. My daughter is in her 4th year and my son just started. I believe so strongly in starting kids doing community service and helping/being aware of others at such a young age.
Thanks! Those three girls were so cute together at the pizza place. And my shirt is from Old Navy, where I get all my clothes. 🙂
I'm really excited about Ivy being in Girl Scouts. Even besides the community service, etc, she's so shy and I'm excited for her to have a group of girls to see outside of school.

We were just mentioning the sun not being in our eyes in the morning. This morning the color of the sky as the sun came up was stunning. I love the family pic. Too cute. Almost made it – he last one with the terrible twos!!
