It was a stressful week, and I was feeling overwhelmed, so the girls and I went to the track. As always, they biked and played, I ran. It was a beautiful day…I love being able to run in the afternoon (the boys stayed with my mom since hubs was still out of town).

October!! My favorite month of the year.

My mom and I were supposed to run the Bad Prom 5K, so she went to a couple of thrift stores and picked up some dresses for us to try. But, the girls tried them first.

I ran on the treadmill and put EB to sleep. Of course, her Nana and Papa showed up a few minutes later and she woke up WIRED (literally, bouncing around the room).

Friday was Grandparents’ Day. After preschool was over, the Es had some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa.

(Friday night was supposed to be the Bad Prom 5K, but as I was meeting my mom to drive over there, it was “postponed”, probably until spring. DISAPPOINTING. But, we went out for dinner instead.)

Saturday was a great day. It was chilly and sunny out, hubs was home so I got to relax then go run in the middle of the day, and I got some great mail. This pumpkin from Alma came, and it’s a perfect piece of fall décor for the front of the house. (Check out her etsy shop and prepare to swoon)
