Hello! I’m happy to see you here. You’ve seen me mention this blog auction before, so now I want to give you the details of how it’ll work and how you can participate. And be sure to come back on Monday to see all of the items!

If you like my Facebook page already, you’ve probably seen the sneak peek photo album of the items up for grabs. All of the products and services have been very generously donated; what that means is that every cent of the money raised through this auction will go straight to my Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser.

Here is how it’s going to go down. Each item will have its own blog post. The posts will go up at 12:01 am Monday morning, Sept. 30, and will contain a picture of the item, the starting bid, the bid increments, the retail value, and a buy it now price. If you want to bid on an item, you’ll leave a comment on that post with your bid. If you bid with the buy it now price, I will add “CLOSED” to the title of the post, indicating that bidding is no longer open for that item. At the end of the week (Monday, Oct. 7), the person with the highest bid on each item will win that item, and will be contacted via email. You’ll have 48 hours to donate the winning amount to my fundraiser, and the item will be mailed to you (or if it’s a service, the donor will be in contact with you to set it up).
