Today was a long week. That’s all I have to say about that.

April 14

My mom and I ran our second 5K of the weekend, stupid early on Sunday morning. We survived (barely) but we actually did get pretty good times. And we got to be divas.

Our last playdate with the Mash family for a long while. You can sort of see all of my kids (it was the best I could do).

Mama Mash did get a picture of me snuggling with my littlest best bud, the Mouse.

Because of the Boston marathon tragedy, the Twitter party for the big announcement of the Mamavation moms was canceled on Monday night, and they made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon instead. I wasn’t chosen for the boot camp. I’m okay with that now (I think).

Spring seems to have disappeared for a while, after it made a brief week-long appearance. It’s been cold and windy and rainy for most of the week. But, the pear trees bloomed, so there’s that.

Ivy drew me and the hubs. I think it looks just like us (I’m on the left).

Ivy had off of school Thursday and Friday because they were doing kindergarten roundup in her classroom both days. Did I mention that hubs has been gone all week? So I ended the school week with three kids home all day, stuck in the house because of the stupid weather. But I’m not bitter. Nope. And then this guy got to stay up late because he took a late nap and I was tired. But he was charming, so that helped a tiny bit.

When you’re bored, and stuck in the house, things like this will happen:

And then, on the longest day in recorded recent history, this guy refused a nap at grandma’s house, so he came home and was up all afternoon. This week pretty much exhausted me.
