Ack!!! Four weeks left in the year. Oh my stars.

Is it just me, or did these last week of November feel like it should have really been December already?

Anyway, I’m calling this the week of NO SLEEP. If I don’t wake up feeling well rested tomorrow, I probably won’t get out of bed at all.

Nov. 25

Sunday was the last day of Thanksgiving break, and I don’t think we did anything except snuggle in our warm…stuff.

Nov. 26

Monday was back to the grind.

Nov. 27

Tuesday…Tuesday was a day for prancing around in various pettiskirts.

Nov. 28
Wednesday = Moms’ Group day, so Essie has to actually get dressed.

Nov. 29

Ivy keeps complaining that she can’t read, but she’s starting to sound out and read simple words. Thursday night, she read a whole beginner book to us.

Nov. 30

Henry was home sick from school on Friday, and T took a vacation day from work to use it up before the end of the year. It was surprisingly quiet with only Ivy at school, and we did some crafting. As you probably already know, we love button crafts around here, but the idea for the reindeer “art” came from this link that I found on Pinterest.

Dec. 1
Today was the last 5K of the year that my mom and I signed up for, the Ugly Sweater Run. For the first day of December in the midwest, it was 68 degrees, and I was forced to wear my ugliest sweater VEST. Today’s run made #7 for the two of us, for 2012 (but no, we haven’t run all of them….we usually walk and jog. The first one, back in the spring, was all walking).
