When Essie was born, I wasn’t sure that she’d be as girly as her big sister. She was louder, played rougher, and looked more like a tomboy than a princess. And she’s tough. Oh yeah. But as she’s gotten older (possibly from the influence of her big sister), she’s become almost as girly.

They both adore princesses, Barbies, accessories, lip gloss. Oh my goodness, do they love the lip gloss.

So when I got the big box of sparkling tulle loveliness, I knew they would be SO excited.

The Hair Bow Company is a website that sells headbands, legwarmers, hair clips, flowers, tutus (and supplies to make your own) at wholesale prices. Do you know how awesome that is?! The girls play the HECK out of their accessories, they tear up their tutus, they lose their hair clips. But the prices of these items make that A-OK.

My daughter literally spent $50 of her own birthday money on a big, fancy, pink pettiskirt last year from a vendor fair. And now it is almost completely unraveled. The pettiskirt she got from The Hair Bow Company is just as cute, just as good quality, has an adjustable waist (which the other did not have), and costs a third of the price. For the amount of money that we spent on her pink pettiskirt last year, we can get her a new one, plus the legwarmers, a matching hair bow, a wand, fairy wings, and have money left over.

And when you’ve got wings? You can’t help but fly.

I know EXACTLY what I’m stuffing the girls’ stockings with this Christmas.

And HEY! If you have little girls that love to dress up, or if you’re a photographer needing adorable props for photo shoots, or are looking for gifts, The Hair Bow Company has created a coupon code just for you, my readers! Enter “gfunkified” during checkout for 10% off of your order through 11/16/12.

Meanwhile, my girls will be prancing around the house in their fairy wings.

Check out The Hair Bow Company website for all of the great deals plus their blog, and while you’re at it, “like” The Hair Bow Company on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.

I was given an assortment of products from The Hair Bow Company to review, but all opinions (and my daughters’ uncontainable excitement) are our own.
