This is late, I know. I’ve been kind of busy, but mostly….HOT. It’s been over 100 every day this week. Blech.
Anyway, here was our last week of June (yikes!).
June 24
Did I mention it was hot? T and Henry got haircuts….on the porch. (And no, he’s not wearing a shirt. Of course not.)
June 25
The only thing we do outside these days is swim. And sometimes the kids play in the sprinkler, but not very often. I’m so, so thankful to have a little 15 foot pool in the backyard this summer.
June 26
I don’t know if we did anything on Tuesday. I don’t think so. (Did I mention it’s been HOT?)
We just chilled in the living room, watched movies. Essie told me jokes so I would tickle her. You know, the usual.
June 27
Another lazy, hot day. Even for the kittens. They’re so cute together now…..they snuggle a lot and it slays me. (I bet you didn’t know that naked Barbies are good snugglers, too, did you?)
June 28
The kids went to the dentist. They LOVE going to the dentist. In fact, the appointment was scheduled for Wednesday, but had to be rescheduled for Thursday because the dentist had a family emergency, and the kids were disappointed. They all did great, and got a clean bill of teeth-health.
June 29
After that crazy, hot day of running around, we…you guessed it! Sat around. Oh, and dressed up.
June 30
Saturday did me good. I needed some time with my girl, Julie and no kids, out of the house that we hung around in all week. Drinks, sushi, and a movie again. It’s the perfect date with your BFF.
That pool looks delicious! And a great way to cap off a week, yay!
The pool has been a lifesaver, I swear. Because without it, we'd probably kill each other. And yes, it was the perfect week-ender!
I want those kids in my pool … which is almost ready. Will you guys come soon!?!?
Looks like that pool came in handy. That's pretty much what we do, either hang in the house or the pool… it's either too hot or rainy to do anything else. Thanks so much for linking up this week!!! 🙂

My kid loves going to the dentist too…which is weird since I am terrified of them.
Oh and naked army dudes…as in dolls…my son calls them dudes…are also good snugglers. Ask my dog.
Haha! I personally get stabby when there's a naked Barbie in my bed, but that's just me.

I love sushi! Also, Dylan was also wearing his halloween costume this week. A fleece monkey, of course.
