You know those weeks when you have so much to do that you just don’t know where to start?

Yeah, that.

March 4
My handsome almost-one-year-old. *sniffle*

March 5
Essie has all but given naps, in that, she will no longer go up to her room and lay down. Now, if she falls asleep during the day, it’s on the couch or in the chair (like here).

March 6
The weather was (mostly) beautiful this week. So we went outside, but Ervin is at that age where you can’t lay him on a blanket because he’ll crawl away, and he can’t walk yet. He wasn’t having the stroller, so I finally put him down in the grass. He was fine for a while, but then…he just started crying. And he wouldn’t put his leg down! Poor kid. The grass was too pokey, I guess.

March 7
Ballet is on Wednesdays now, which is what I like to call “Ivy and Mama time”.

March 8
I’m still getting used to the whole “gluten free” thing. This was my first meal plan. I’ve already changed it, but it’s a start, right? (Yeah, I know, the window’s dirty)

March 9
About half of us have been pretty sick this week (Erv, Essie and myself), and Ervin was not doing well at all. Of course, he can’t have any cold medicine yet. This day, he cried almost the entire night and day. We went outside for a change of scenery, and Essie was able to entertain him with bubbles. HE LOVED IT. Oh, and if you couldn’t tell, I put him in a front carrier. No grass crying this time.

March 10
Essie came into our room first Saturday morning, and you can tell by this picture how interested she is and how much she cares about her baby brother. She really wanted him to smile.
